Security checks
Discover the current airport security measures to ensure a hassle-free experience at the airport.
For security reasons, all passengers are subjected to screening through a metal detector before accessing the boarding areas to detect potentially dangerous objects, while both carry-on and checked baggage are screened using X-ray machines.
General regulations:
- It is allowed to carry one piece of carry-on luggage on board.
- Laptops must be removed from the suitcase before X-ray screening.
- Liquids can be transported in quantities not exceeding 100 ml (in a resealable plastic bag).
- Passengers with pacemakers must notify the staff before undergoing security screening.
For further information regarding items and substances not allowed on board – in checked or carry-on luggage – visit the baggage section and the dedicated section of the ENAC website.
